Why is he like this?

I have a friend, he is in the army, and we talk on the phone for hours everyday. I kind of like him. We decided to meet up when he came back from training. We went to a flower show then just shopping and looking around at a mall. He spent 4 hours with me after not seeing each other in 4 months then he kept talking on the phone and texting for 2 hours and said that we should go home or leave asap. I was disappointed for meeting him. I feel hurt now, he cares about his friends even though they were not there for him when he started training a while back. I got out of the car and left him. He said he was hurt. He apologized to me many times but I don't know what to do. is this friendship worth it? He texted me saying he was going to call me but he never did.
Why is he like this?
The guy was in training, came home and visited you first, but your complaining because he wants to spend time with his friends??? I'm sure the guy was REALLY looking forward to spending an afternoon at a flower show after being locked away!

Reply:1st if he says that he will call you back and doesnt then is word is worth ****..2nd You have to give him some credit for spending time with you but you have to understand that you two are not in a committed relationship which makes him fee to do what ever he wants to do...u getting up set isnt going to prove anything to us...you need to be having a talk with him and let him kno how you feel...good luck
