Whats the best way to show someone you love them more than ever?

ive been with my significant other for 23 months now and want to do something special to show them that i love them more than ever.

in less than 3 weeks i have to return home to the uk after 2 great years in asia and were gonna be seperated for about 6 months(coz of stoopid blo*dy visa rules here).

i need some ideas of something really, really, really special, not dinner and flowers coz its tacky, but something that can show them that im truely in this for the long haul and that i will always be the one for them.

im 24 and they are 34, i am not good at romantic stuff, but its important to me to do this for them and for myself.

Well if you're ready for a Very Long relationship.....Pop the BIG QUESTION;-) Weather you do it alone at your favorite place to hang out or right in front of family and friends, what matters is the effort and the suprise look to see that person's face.

Dinner %26amp; flowers is NOT tacky, so you should go ahead %26amp; buy her some red roses %26amp; maybe you can cook her dinner (if you even know how to cook), otherwise take her out to eat somewhere. If you don't want to buy her roses %26amp; dinner, then buy her chocolates, make her a poem %26amp; be intimate for the evening.
Reply:The best way to show someone is to tell them. It sounds sappy but if you write a letter it'll make her heart melt plus she'll have it to look back on when she's missing you. Why not spend a day doing everything she wants to do? Whether that be just chilling out and watching a movie at home or enjoying a really nice dinner. Actions speak louder than words, but words last forever. I'd just tell her.

though, i don't think its so much what you do but what you say. try writing your love one a beautiful letter. maybe even a "promise" ring where you can show them how much you love them and how serious you are about the relationship.

Reply:If you S.O is moveing to the UK to be with you then...a ring? An engagment ring(if you are ready for that) or a promise ring for a girl. Or a simple gold promise ring for a guy (don't know about UK law about gay unions).
