Yeah I know it sounds really weird but I have to find a painting that shows the decay of a character i have a project on. Jack in Lord of the Flies. Preferably a painting by a famous artist

In Henry Wallis's "Death of Chatterton", you'll get both a dead poet, and a dying flower, a symbol of early death in paintings.

Reply:I would suggest looking into post-modern art or perhaps Georgia O'Keefe. Her work doesn't exactly cover dying flowers, but certain works could be seen as such.
