What causes Zantedeschia (calla lily) dark colored flowers to have "albino" spots?

The white spots (some streaks) appear on numerous cultivars, in varied light and soil conditions, and appear to be a lack of pigment rather than disease. The tubers look fine and show no signs of rot. The flowers are not misshapen. The spots don't appear on the leaves, although some are naturally spotted. A search of numerous .edu Web sites discuss several fungal and viral problems to which callas are susceptible but none with the symptoms I am seeing. Thanks for any help

Its stricktly genetic.....most are bred with that specific characteristic. There is nothing to worry about, they just add a bit of aesthetic appeal
