I'm sure a flower would be fine. You don't have to worry about words. Just let your teacher know that you care.
Reply:How about a sympathy card signed by the whole class.
Reply:Just give her a pretty little white bouquet with a tiny card that reads: "I'm sorry for your loss".
Reply:You could give her a flower and a little note saying your sorry for her loss. It really doesn't matter what color the flower is. The thing that matters is that she knows that you care. Just a card would do nicely.
