How are you supposed to accept thankyou for one fo your mates handing you fifty dollars on a night out and they insist you take it. How do you respond, what do u do? why do feel bad for this? Not jus tthis but when everybody gives me something, even if its a cute litle flower i dnt know how to respond. SOemtiems i jsut dont know what to say so i dont say anything and i worry the person may think im ungrateful so then i just become too grateful s they know i love what they ahve done, but doing that just doesnt feel right. Im such a grateful person, but im not aperson who says many words when given soemthing. it doesnt feel me, How can i show my gratitude in other ways?
How can i show my gratitude?
Sometimes the easy way to say thank you is to simply say, "Thank you!"
A lot of people are joyful givers- I'm like that. I prefer to give. I don't want anything in return nor do I expect anything in return. I will be honest, I do get great joy when I am thanked or told how much I am appreciated. It's not that I need to feel affirmed by someone else, it just reminds me why I am a giver: Because it touches people and warms their hearts.
Just tell them "Thank you." An endearing look into the eyes while you say it is always nice. A heartfelt squeeze of the shoulder while saying "Thank you, I am so glad to be blessed with you as my friend;" is very touching.
Even a "Just Because" little note or card expressing how thankful you are to have a friend like so-and-so.
That's what I think of when "big things come in small packages." Stuff is stuff, but heartfelt sentiments- wow.

Reply:Anytime, friend! :) Report It
Reply:You bumped up accepting it. Men that give ladies money when they first meet them are stupid and have low selfesteem.
As for you....when someone offers money like that especially in your case, you turn it away, period, and that's it or you will ruin your relationship and between the sheets is all you will ever know with him.
Reply:If someone gives you something, it's usually because they want to and don't expect a lot of gratitude. Often this can make someone quite embarrassed anyway. Often saying 'thank you' is all that is required.
Reply:Just say thanks and continue being you. Obviously you are a highly valued friend so you must be doing most things right!!
Reply:You have low self esteem. You should show your gratitude the way most girls with low self esteem show it.
