Gift for a female friend to show I care?

Hi

There's a woman I work with who is also a good friend.

Basically, I really like her, she knows this as well but probably because of the working together she's worried about consequences etc.

I've always been a nice person to her, when she's been really down I've bought her flowers etc to cheer up %26amp; she loved them.

What sort of other LITTLE things do people think I could get her that don't have any sexual bias but just show I care about her and to make her smile?

DVD's etc are no good, she'll wonder why I've done that.

Women, what sort of things would make you think "arrrrr, thats so nice and thoughful"

It doesnt have to be a gift, just little things I could do or say perhaps to make her feel special?

This isn't the full story but best I can explain.

Reply:This a good question...because something similar happened to me and it was trouble to say the least...It seems that you can't even give a girl a complement without her thinking or others that you have other motives...Gifts I like to give are ..candles; any coupon for "free food" ;even a note saying" hi"... just to playful and it still gives others the impression that you have this evil plan behind it...give me a break...its when guys DON'T show some attention that they *****..!

But then you said they'd be no good.



You say that she'd wonder why you did that, which is legitimate but if you have similar tastes in films, you could of course say something like 'I saw this film and I thought you'd enjoy it.'



Hell, if that's still too much, take the cellophane off and pretend its yours and say the same thing but ask her if she wants to borrow it to watch.



The important factor is that you've taken note of what she likes and remembered it. Women like to know that they're listened to.

dogs, cats, skylines, WHATEVER it is and then go buy something little that represents that....a picture, a stuffed animal...etc..............this way she knows you are listening and that you REALLY care.
