I am falling for a girl who cant show her emotions, and i dont know where i stand?

I am seeing this girl that i have known for about a year and I a totally falling for her.



The thing is she had a very difficult childhood, one that involved both physical and sexual abuse, and because of this she can not show her emotions and does and will not make any advances sexually, this would include (holding hands, kissing as well as other proximity issues), and she never had a boyfriend.



and the thing is, I am totally ok with that, the way i see it is that each small step with take in our relationship would make it that much more special.



But the negative effect of this situation is that do not know where i stand with her?



She "hopefully" knows that i am crazy for her I have sent her flowers, we make dinner together, we rent movies and go out every weekend, talk on the phone almost every day. Almost as if we are dating, but with out any physical connection.



So with out putting any pressure on her (which i do not want to do) how do i find out how she really feels about me?

You say she won't make any advances, so you will have to at some point.

"You know (insert her name here) we have known each other for a while now. I really like you. You are special in the way that you (insert her special characteristics here). I would like to know how you feel about me and where you see our relationship going.

Then be open to what she says and be sensitive to it. When you are dealing with someone that has been physically or sexually abused, you have to be patient and understanding.
