What colour suits to choose with my ivory bridesmaides??

I will be having ivory bridesmaides, so i need to chooses a suit color for the groomsmen. i want either a chocolate brown or a lighter brown like a coffee colour. pictures are shown in www.formalred.com.au look at the lighter brown suit faux. also i need to make the groom look different as the b/maides will be in ivory so u think if i have soft pink ties for the groomsmen will it look ok cos i will be having soft pastely pink flowers for the girls???

You may want to specify wich one you mean...the brown ones I saw have pinstripes...wich is fine, but, not with pink! Make his suit the lighter brown and theirs darker or vise versa! good luck...i'm sure it will be beautiful!
Reply:GO WITH THE CHOCOLATE BROWN!!! It's looks gorgeous and elegant!! And ivory vest will look amazing with the chocolate...I would use an ivory tie and pink flowers for the boutieneirre (I know I spelled that wrong lol)...Does the groom have to look different from the groomsmen? You could just have his "flower" different than that of the groomsmen...for instance he could have an ivory rose with some smaller pink flowers....It will be BEAUTIFUL!! Have fun and good luck!! Reply:Medium brown for the groomsmen, a lighter shade for the groom. Pink ties and cummerbunds will look fine.

Reply:UGH. Go with black with The chocolate as an accent. Brown suits are TACKY!!! and they look like hell. Keep them all in black and it will look very elegant. Keep the Pink away from the guys! make their bouteneires (sp?) pink roses. That will tie them in.
Reply:Go with the chocolate brown with an ivory vest and tie and a white tux shirt. Have the boutonnieres done in small pink flowers. The bridesmaids bouquets done in like 2 tones of pinks and brown roses. They have roses that are brown. Mix in some ivory orchids with some green ivy and tie with chocolate brown and gold ribbon. The Groom can be the lighter brown with a darker vest and tie.

Reply:If you're talking about the Fawn ones, the model has on a pink shirt so obviously a pink tie with an ivory shirt would look good, but it might make them feel uncomfortable so your fiance should talk to them first. You could always use a pink flower in the boutonnieres. I do like that color for the tuxes though.

Reply:unless it is a high end brown suit i wld skip doing brown. brown isn't the most attractive suit color for a wedding.

if it is a daytime wedding then maybe go with a deeper shade of beige. that would go nicely with pink accessories. the pink will be great b/c you'll need that splach of color.

if it is an evening wedding then i actually think black would look very elegant with the ivory dresses. you could still add a splach of color to the black.
