were i can type in a word say for example flower and the program will then show a hand writing that letters to spell out the word and sounding out the sounds of the word.
it just makes it more fun then me doing it.
Software to help my 6 year old daughter learn how to spell.. To be more specific im looking for a program?
My son is 6 and as school he uses a website called upto10
it must be good because it's a popular site..
It's a UK site

Reply:Do they still make Speak %26amp; Spell? That would be good!
My daughter's the same age - when she gets her spellings list I write it on the notice board so that whenever she comes in the kitchen they are always there for her to look at. Then when she gets confident, we play a little game of spelling bee (usually on the walk to school). A wrong answer gets a 'bong' and a gentle bop on the head - like Mallett's Mallet, if you will...
Also, lots of reading will help her spelling no end!
Reply:I don't know of any computer program, although i'm sure one probably exists. but when I was younger there was a handheld game called speak and spell. maybe it's still available.
Reply:Reading is the best way.
Reply:get her to read rather than learning words in isolation -far more effective.
Reply:umm i have no clue, but like maybe u can use those things liek leapster or whatever
Reply:Something that has to do with phonics. Also, depending upon which school she's in, their way of teaching could be detrimental.
Reply:Being taught by actual people will help more. Do it yourself or get a private tutor or something.
