Can you name US show set in Sanfransisco.?

Show was set in building split into appartments. Landlady was old and eccentric who had love for plants/flowers. Can't remember how many tennants she had but one had a male gay friend whome she had a crush on. By the end of the series the individual sories all end up inter-linked with each other.
