Where can I get a book on english plant life?

I'm after an illustrated book that will show me pretty pictures of all the plants and weeds that grow around the British Isles.

I don't want a gardening book, and I don't really care for flowers. Trees aren't so important either, I'm looking for a kind of reference manual that I can use to draw realistic plant life for a 3D world

Reply:I bought The Reader's Digest guide to Britain's Wildlife, Plants %26amp; Flowers from Waterstones.

It is filled with exactly the kind of beautiful illustrations I was looking for :-) Report It
Reply:barnes and nobels.
Reply:Botanic survey of INDIA, REFER TO google.
Reply:There are many major bookshops in London where the staff can direct you towards the type of book you want - technical or otherwise, illustrative or verbal, easy-reading or complex. They can all also be reached via the 'net - so you don't even have to leave home.

Reputable stores who should be able to help you include Foyles (my favourite), Blackwells, Waterstones, Books etc and Borders. There are, however, many more besides - and you could also try trawling through the 'catalogues' of on-line specialist retailers like Amazon.

If you don't want to buy from these people, you can still use them to discover the books and then buy them elsewhere.

Good hunting!
