I am doing Hot pink roses in a 6X6 glass square vase. My wedding colors are hot pink and white. Besides roses in the vase, what are some other hot pink or white flowers that compliment a rose well? Here is a link to show you an idea of what i am doing. I just needs some more fillers besides just roses and i am not sure what compliments roses the best...
Thanks much!
Something like this but the vase will be clear instead....

Wedding flower help!?
I'd go with what is in in the picture.
They are NOT stargazer lily's - they are much larger.
the other flower is Alstoemeria - and they are very pretty and relatively inexpensive. Then you can use greens, frilly lisianthus, or baby's breath to fill it out for bulk.
Many of the flowers mentioned are not filler flowers - peonies, hydrangea, etc. You need smaller filler flowers.
Reply:I dont know if this will work with your budget, but I personally love stefanotis. They're gorgeous.
Reply:For the pinks:
Cosmos (inexpensive, Dahlia, camellia (can be pricey),
Hyacinth comes a great intense pink and smells great.
Alstoemeria, amaryllis, calla lily, freesia, gerbera, larkspur, orchid, phlox, scabiosa, tulips, zinna, sweet pea
For the whites:
Almost anything
Daffodils, daisys all types of lilies, alstroemeria, camellia, iris, lisianthus scabiosa, stephanotis (pretty but expensive, they are flown in from Hawii), tuberose, veronica
freesia and gardenia will be nice and they also have a great scent
Reply:Look these up, see if you like what you see. Or call your florist. I don't know the date of your wedding or the location, so I don't know what flowers will be available at that time. But here is a start, at any rate :)
I put links below.
Good luck. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. :)
Reply:White hydrangeas would fill it out well and look great with roses.
Reply:Some pink tulips might be nice:

You could also do some white stephanotis.

Reply:Tulips, lilies, carnations, alstroemeria and pittosporum are types of flowers that come in pink. With roses, you can pretty much get away with most white flowers.
Reply:I personally like hydrangeas and peonies. They're kinda bushy and come in several colors including pink and white. I would just check out www.theknot.com . you can browse wedding photos by color or centerpieces or bouqets, etc.
Reply:I'd go with the look in the pic you provided...the other flowers in that vase are called stargazer lilies, and that arrangement looks really nice! Congrats!!!
Reply:Well, I personally love the Gerbera Daisies. They are a beautiful flower...plus they come in many different colors and are fairly affordable.
Here is a picture of a interesting centerpiece that I saw made of roses and gerbera's

You could also use white hydrangea's with the pink roses, like these:

Or you could just have the roses by themselves with some baby's breath. Then you can scatter a few rose petals and add some candles around the vase.
Reply:that picture is very pretty, i do not know a lot a about flowers, but you could go to flower shops and browse. You could ask them what they would recommend and pick they flowers you like, no need to actually buy the flowers from them
