List of flowers/Trees in the movie "what Dreams may come"?
Looked at some stills , haven't found video clip. Saw some sort of poppies(reddish orange) , probably Iceland poppies . The blue flowers were Bearded Iris ( Iris germanica) . The color looks slightly enhanced . If you want that color , in real life , try Himalayan Poppy ( 2 species of Meconopsis ) , if you live in Pacific NW , or milder(winter) parts of NY/NE , that also rarely get to 90F. Otherwise , doubt you'll quite get THAT blue. The mauve spikes look like some type of Echium . Outside of California , some varieties of Delphinium %26amp; Mullein (Verbascum sp.) will be closest to that look . Can't see the white well enough to tell . Anybody know where there is video, for a better look ?
Reply:This is getting away from your question a bit but you could buy or you might want to rent the movie. Although I think Robin Williams is a genius ,a lot of the movies he's been in don't do his true genius justice, except for some like Dead Poet's Society. The only reason I say this is, although the cinematography of this movie, especially the part with the painting of the flowers, is unbelievably beautiful, you may interpret this as a very depressing movie. For me, though, as I have suffered from acute depression in the past, I keep this movie handy and at those times when I've felt there is no reason to go on, I pop this movie into my VCR and it pulls me right back into realizing

that I've still got a lot of living I want to do.
