Valentines: Why wait and show your love on one day?

Okay if you and your mate(wife, lover etc.) show each other year round that you love each other, you give each other presents, flowers or you go out to dinner etc. Do you feel that you have to do it on Valentines day as well.



My better half and I decided to stop being manipulated by the "media" into buying into the Valentines day "assault".



Her support and love is not limited to that day and neither is mine. I see something nice and buy it for her regardless of what day it is.



Heck I know people who treat each other like c r a p and then on Valentines day they act like they love each other with the flowers candy etc.



Now we have to buy diamonds? I constantly see the ads for like "nothing says I love you like a diamond" blah, blah



My question is this



Isn't it better to show our affection towards our loved ones all year long(by this I mean any day, not every single day) than let us be manipulated into doing it on Valentines day?

i really agree with you. people treat each other like crap the whole year and then today behave like they have this perfect love. everyday can be valentine if you treat the other with love and respect my hubby buys me what ever i want and treats me like his valentine the whole year so today is just like any other day.

Don't be so selfish and get out there and spend your money on those very nice chocolates that come in a dark red box with three roses on it. I sure do like the money. Not much per box but thousands of them can make a difference.



I don't care who you give the candy to or if you just eat it yourself so long as you buy at least one box. More would be appreciated.



You said something about love I think. Well I don't care if you love anyone or not. even if you hate them be nice and give to them.

Reply:I am agree with your idea.Celebrating this Valentines day is not necessary.The one which is benefited only were all the Shopping Centers, Jewelry Shops,Flower Shops,etc.This day needs much money for several gifts only. Remember, a true love can't changed even how precious gifts you give. When you feel this,not only this day but for the rest of your life,they so called"Till Death Thou as Part"....
