A good painting show?

I'm 16 and have been messing around with painting, drawing ect.

What's a good painting show?

I used to watch some on TV, one just taught how to paint mostly flowers, and the other was more into the woodsy stuff, trees, mountains, rock.

Do you know of a good show to watch on TV or that I could simply find online to download?

Thank you.
A good painting show?
Can't think of specific ones but there are lots on PBS stations.

And here's a site with lots of links.
Reply:The best painter that i've seen on t.v. that teaches good principles is Jerry Yarnell. But i would recommend instead to simply practice, get some books, learn the process of layering, and experiment with different techniques for producing the same painting.
Reply:go to www.newcenturytv.com and click on artist. They have hundreds of hours of art lessons you can watch on line on all media, drawing and many other art related subjects.

Check out www.smartflix.com and these people rent art DVDs among a ton of other "how to DVDs" for around $10 including postage for one week.

Check out Acrylic Secrets at www.iftheycanican.com as this is the best DVD out there on the different acrylic painting techniques.

Hope this helps.
